You will oversee the fiscal activities of a complex academic unit working towards both short and long term financial goals. You will authorize all department purchases, address non-routine financial questions, and research, prepare, and verify financial statements. Your key responsibilities include budgeting, account management, reporting, financial guidance, and human resources with the possibility of additional duties being assigned to support administrative operations. This position requires knowledge equivalent to a college degree in accounting, and three to five years of experience working in supervision, accounting procedures, and developing accounting controls. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in a fast-paced, complex, and multi-faceted academic department environment.
