Today is MSU Green Day!

As an employee of Michigan State University, the color green may be a staple in your wardrobe. But today is different from your average day of wearing green! Governor Rick Snyder has declared Friday, December 2, 2011 as “MSU Green Day,” honoring the Michigan State University football team that will play in the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday night in Indianapolis.

It’s Fun Friday, and today we’re thinking about some MSU Dairy Store fun! Everybody loves a couple scoops of good quality ice cream, and the famous MSU Dairy Store has the best around!

It’s another Fun Friday and we think it’s fun to be “in the know” about all the wonderful things going on at Michigan State University!  The problem is, MSU is BIG, and there is so much going on in so many places that keeping up with it all can seem impossible.  More and more savvy Spartans are taking advantage of social media tools to stay up-to-date on all things MSU.  Many MSU colleges, units, departments, groups, courses, coaches, teams and individuals make interesting MSU-related information available to all through Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in, You-Tube, Flickr and Slideshare. Bowling and Billiards at the U!

The next time you find yourself bored on a weekend with nothing to do, how about some good old-fashioned fun with a bowling night out at the MSU Union? Right in the basement of the south wing of the MSU Union is Spartan Lanes, a 16-lane bowling alley with a classic, fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Also, right next to the bowling alley in the Union basement is UCue Billards, with open billiards and 8 championship pocket tables.
