This week’s job of the week is a Controller Assistant Manager/Analyst (#499702) for the Investment Office. This position is seeking an individual to review all market value and perform estimates, assist with maintenance of investment software, and monthly uploads for investment software.

The ideal candidate would possess knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree in program Business, Accounting or a related field; one to three years of progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in accounting, financial analysis, management and/or supervision and in employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities for this role include the ability to comprehend and extract key financial data from a variety of financial reporting documents and formats. Being able to have good data management and organizational skills. Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. The ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, including senior leadership. Have knowledge of advanced use of databases, spreadsheets, and other PC-based reporting tools.

This week’s job of the week is a Golf Course Operations Manager (#500376) for Forest Akers Golf Courses.

This position is seeking an individual to manage the daily operational and personnel activities of Forest Akers Golf Courses, with a focus on overseeing the food & beverage operations and assisting with the coordination of all business operations.

The ideal candidate would possess knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Golf Course Management, Marketing or other related field; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in golf course management or knowledge of golf course operations and supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities for this role include forecasting and monitoring the annual budget; assisting with creating, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures for Forest Akers Golf Courses; assisting with promoting, coordinating, and overseeing golf outings and individual play; assisting with the short and long-range planning for the golf courses; preparing monthly and periodic special reports; other duties as needed to manage daily golf course operations.
