We have millions of thoughts running through our mind each day. Today, Lisa Davidson, counselor for the Employee Assistance Program and HRD facilitator, explains how our thinking shifts from clear mind to mud mind, and how we can learn to shift back to a clear, centered state of mind. Check out the video here.
If you’re interested in learning more about achieving a clearer state of mind, check out one of Lisa’s upcoming classes. You can enroll through the EBS system.

Thanks for the posting, but enrolling in classes is convoluted and confusing. It seems like there are always at least two sites one has to go through for one task, and even the booking a course instructions aren’t clear or reflective of the current EBS system. Need more streamlined communications – Less Is More (or should be at MSU).
I totally agree with Bill! I clicked on the “Upcoming Classes” link, then several more clicks to find what I was looking for. And a 7 page guide to figure out how to enroll for a class?? Oh my goodness! EBS has made our lives so much more dificult and it’s even stressful to enroll in the “Breakfing Free From Stress Class.”
Thank you, Bill and Michelle, for your comments. We appreciate your feedback about your experiences. There are some improvements planned in the future to try to simplify our processes. And as always, if you are trying to register for a class and run into barriers, please contact HRD at 884-0169 and we will do our best to help you, including walking you through the process. Here is an additional enrollment resource you may find beneficial: http://sourcelive.wordpress.com/2011/09/19/how-do-i-register-for-an-hrd-class/. Thanks again for the feedback.

Wow, I think maybe I should sign up for this class! It sounds like it could be really helpful, I tend to get overwhelmed sometimes with too many things going all at once. Will check it out.
Laura,
Thank you for your comment. Our goal is to provide the MSU community with resources and tools that can help you be productive and successful. Although this week’s Breaking Free From Stress class is full, we have another session coming up on December 2 and 5. Based on your comment, you may also find Managing Projects and Multitasking beneficial. It is going to be held on Friday, October. 21, 8:30-noon. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions you might have about upcoming programs or help with the enrollment process.
