New Careers @ MSU Job Posting Websites!

Are you an MSU employee looking for additional opportunities internally or an outside candidate looking for a career at MSU? We have good news for you! On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, MSU is launching new job posting websites called Careers @ MSU. These websites will improve the applicant experience and allow the hiring process to run more smoothly.

MSU Jobs IconThere are two different sites: one for external applicants and another for internal applicants. Prospective, external applicants will visit the external careers.msu.edu website for job postings beginning on the launch date. Current MSU employees should visit the internal site via the “Careers @ MSU” tile in the EBS Portal.

The internal site displays internal-only postings, along with postings open to all applicants. The benefit to applying to a posting through the internal site is employee preference over external applicants, where applicable. It also takes into consideration seniority ranking and eligibility for support staff positions.

Below we have included videos for current and prospective employees to walk you through the new sites. There is also a tip sheet available for additional information on the applicant features of the new system.

Thank You MSU Recycling!

At MSU, it’s more than simply showing your school spirit by wearing green and white – it’s about being Spartan Green. Maintaining environmentally, socially and economically sustainable solid waste management solutions to help keep our campus and natural world beautiful is exactly what MSU Recycling stands for. The organization began in 1988, when MSU’s students petitioned the Board of Trustees to focus on recycling and received a grant from the state to create an office paper recycling program. From there began the Office of Recycling and Waste Reduction, which is now known as MSU Recycling. Throughout the years, MSU Recycling’s services have expanded, and have integrated the Surplus Store, Storage and Waste Management into one unit.

MSU Recycling offers many services that are not only there to help you, but to help our environment. Besides interior, exterior and event recycling, compost, confidential shredding and office clean out services are also offered. Volunteer opportunities are also available if you wish to lend a hand in increasing recycling and reducing waste.

Thank you, MSU Recycling for keeping our campus beautiful and engaging the community in your efforts!
