Earth Month events at MSU

At MSU, green is always in season.

Even though April 22 is Earth Day, there are numerous campus events happening all month to celebrate and raise awareness about environmental issues.

The campus community is encouraged to attend an event, check out campus sustainability resources and share photos throughout the month using the #bespartangreen hashtag.

Student Organic Farm Stand

April 7, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., MSU Auditorium

The Student Organic Farm Stand returns for the 2016 season on April 7. The farm stand is open every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through the end of October. Visit them under the big white tent on Farm Lane for all of your vegetable, fruit, flower, herb and transplant needs.

A Conversation with President Simon about MSU’s Energy Future

April 12, 9 a.m.

MSU will broadcast “A Conversation with President Simon about MSU’s Energy Future” on MSU’s Energy Transition website. President Lou Anna K. Simon, along with other distinguished panelists, will discuss MSU’s energy infrastructure and the steps the university is taking to advance its energy goals.

3rd Annual Earth Week Extravaganza!

April 21, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Rock

Join MSU Sustainability and the Sustainable Spartans on April 21 for their annual Earth Week Extravaganza! Activities include plant giveaways, free bike repairs, pot decorating, games and more!
