This week we are highlighting an Admissions Counselor with the Honors College (Posting #9651). The Honors College Admissions Counselor visits schools and makes presentations at information sessions and college fairs on and off campus; meets and counsels prospective students and their families about Honors College advantages and coordinates campus visits; coordinates college recruitment communications including social networking, email, and US mail correspondence with prospective students; coordinates review of student records for Honors College eligibility in collaboration with other HC staff; coordinates honors housing placements and liaises with Campus Living Services; collaborates with other units on campus to plan joint recruitment activities, and organizes alumni contacts with prospective students. This position involves travelling in and outside of Michigan and performing other professional duties as assigned by the Dean and the Director of Admissions and Student Affairs.
