Support can come in many forms, and here at MSU one of those forms is the MSU Safe Place.
MSU Safe Place provides free and confidential services to survivors of violence and their minor children. The services are open to students, staff, faculty and individuals in the Greater Lansing area. Some of their services include: emergency shelter, counseling, information and referrals, support groups, safety planning and advocacy.
The program also works to increase awareness about relationship violence and stalking through various outreach efforts.
In addition to their programs and services, MSU Safe Place holds an annual “Race for the Place 5K” to raise funds to support the work of the program.
MSU Safe Place provides vital services that impact numerous lives on a daily basis.
Thank you, MSU Safe Place!
