Every day on campus, there are a number of spectacular people that take time out of their busy schedules to lend a hand to an MSU department or organization. These people are MSU volunteers!
These volunteers can log anywhere from five to more than 100 volunteer hours. Volunteers offer assistance for different places at MSU, such as WKAR, the MSU Museum or MSU Safe Place. They even volunteer during events, such as 5K races that take place at MSU.
Some volunteers are MSU students, some MSU staff and faculty, and some community members. They help campus organizations operate and events run smoother.
Thank you, MSU volunteers, for the work that you have done and the work that you continue to do!
How do I become a volunteer?
Thanks,
Mary
Hi Mary! It seems that volunteer opportunities are coordinated through specific departments and units. You may want to consider what types of volunteering you’d like to do, then contact that department (for example, MSU Horticulture and the MSU Museum accept volunteers). I hope this information helps!
