Today is MSU Green Day!

As an employee of Michigan State University, the color green may be a staple in your wardrobe. But today is different from your average day of wearing green! Governor Rick Snyder has declared Friday, December 2, 2011 as “MSU Green Day,” honoring the Michigan State University football team that will play in the inaugural Big Ten Championship Game on Saturday night in Indianapolis.

We’re proud of the accomplishments of this year’s football team. The current senior class is now the winningest class in the 115 years of Spartan football.

We hope you’ll wear green and show your Spartan pride today. We wish the football team the best of luck tomorrow in the championship game as they play for the chance to make their first Rose Bowl since 1987!

If you want to show your support, you can post a picture of you or your family and friends wearing green to MSU’s Facebook page! Go Green!
