This week’s job of the week is a Service Manager II (#496632) for the Culinary Services Retail Operations Department at Residential & Hospitality Services.

This position is seeking an individual who will manage activities related to the concession operations at MSU athletic and multi-purpose facilities; recruit, train, supervise and schedule employees and service group organizations, and ensure departmental operations standards are met.

Responsibilities for this role include monitoring financial reports to ensure budget expectations are met, assisting in the development and execution of marketing and advertising, and coordinating new product development.

The ideal candidate would possess knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in a field related to the area of responsibility; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in supervising operational activities related to the area of employment including supervision of multiple concession operations at medium to large facilities.
