Look good, feel good! Help your heart look good and feel good this month – February is American Heart Health Month. Heart disease and strokes are both in the top five for leading causes of death in the United States. According to the American Heart Association, there are seven steps to take action against heart disease and stroke:
- Manage Blood Pressure
- Control Cholesterol
- Reduce Blood Sugar
- Get Active
- Eat Better
- Lose Weight
- Stop Smoking
The American Heart Association website is packed with tools and resources to improve your life. Another resource on the American Heart Association website is an activity tab packed with activity guides, fitness basics, motivation and a kids channel to get the entire family involved.
