If you know or work with a woman who goes above and beyond in her everyday life and work, nominate her for the Inspirational Woman of the Year Award. The award was created in 2014 and previously administered by the MSU Woman’s Resource Center to recognize the achievements of woman-identified MSU faculty and staff. This year, as the new administrators of the award, the Center for Gender in Global Context will award individuals who demonstrate integrity, leadership, quality performance, integrative and inclusive action, and influence on campus and in the community. Three woman will be honored, one in each category: Professional Achievement, Community Engagement and Culture of Empowerment.
Staff, faculty and students may nominate women they believe deserve the award. Nomination deadline for the third-annual Inspirational Woman of the Year Award is November 15. Recipients will be recognized in spring 2017. For more information about the award or the nomination process, visit gencen.isp.msu.edu.
