This week we are highlighting a Contract & Grant/Sponsored Programs Manager with Contract and Grant Administration (Posting #8883). This position is responsible for managing the Cash Management Group of CGA; the Cash Management group is responsible for managing the inflow of cash for sponsored project accounts, ARRA reporting, LOC draws, invoicing, deposits, accounts receivable follow-up and financial reports. Specifically, this position will manage the day-to-day operations of a seven-person group by: monitoring workload assignments; providing quality control of financial reporting, wires, account receivable, LOC draws and related agency reporting; training CGA and MSU employees regarding account requirements; communicating with faculty project investigator(s), departmental administrator(s) and fiscal officer(s); and providing suggestions for revised CGA policy and procedure to CGA management.

Having a blanket is beneficial if you’re stranded and have to wait for assistance.

3. Flashlight
A water-proof flashlight is indispensable in case your car breaks down at night. Also, keep extra batteries.

4. Hand warmers
