This week’s Job of the Week is an Academic Program Coordinator (#540457) with the Department of Surgery in the College of Human Medicine. Among a variety of responsibilities, the department is looking for an individual who will:

Serve as Community Clerkship Assistant for the Lansing SR Surgery & Surgery II rotations

Function as a liaison to students, community faculty and community support staff for issues and/or questions relating to the clerkship and students

Schedule rooms for teaching sessions, exams, and various other student-related activities

Review evaluations from the college evaluation system electronic student evaluation and logbook system
A qualified candidate would have knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired through the first two or three years of college, such as an Associate’s degree in business, education, higher education, psychology, health administration or a related field which corresponds to the area of employment; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in university/college/academic graduate studies or related administrative position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
