Job of the Week 9/1/17

This week we are highlighting a Senior Purchasing Agent/Supervisor with the Purchasing Department. This position supervises a team of procurement professionals responsible for a broad range of commodities and services. In addition, this position conducts complex procurement and contractual assignments. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Procurement, the Senior Purchasing Agent formulates specifications for unique, multi-faceted, and/or large-scale purchases with a value up to $500,000; processes sealed bids, RFIs, RFQs and RFPs; negotiates, approves and administers contracts; processes purchase orders with related documentation; and ensures compliance with university policies and procedures along with federal and state requirements and all applicable laws.
