This week we are highlighting a Payroll Assistant II (posting #4524) with the Controller’s Office. The Payroll Assistant II position works for the central MSU Payroll Operations in the Controller’s Office responsible for the process and maintenance of all functions of the Graduate Assistant payroll to meet payroll goals according to University policies and procedures. This positions reviews and monitors reports for accuracy and timeliness, verifies payroll information, and resolves problems such as over-payments and late payments. This position also communicates with Human Resources and University departments to exchange information needed to resolve problems and meet deadlines and assists with other payrolls as needed.
