Job of the Week 12/7/12

This week we’re highlighting an Executive Secretary II position in the Center for Integrative Toxicology (Posting #7117). Some of the job duties for this position include providing administrative support to the Director of the Center, the Graduate Program Director of the Environmental and Integrative Toxicological Sciences Graduate Training Program, and the Director of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Great Lakes Air Center for Integrated Environmental Research; assisting in pre-award data collection, compilation and document preparation for competitive and non-competitive grant submissions as well as annual post-award grant progress reports, updates, and other agency requested information (specifically NIEHS and EPA awards); and coordinating in-state and out-of-state seminars, collaborative meetings and workshops in support of the Center’s research grants and general activities.

Think Before You Drink This Holiday Season

One of Health4U’s latest websites, thinkingaboutdrinking.msu.edu, asks you to think about your drinking throughout the year.

Employee Assistance Program Counselor Jonathon Novello said the site was created as a way to reach faculty, staff and alumni. He said the site doesn’t discourage drinking, but asks visitors to take a look at their drinking habits, which can become more noticeable during the holiday season.Continue Reading… Think Before You Drink This Holiday Season
