For these employees and friends of the university, the <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.msu.edu\/index.cfm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MSU Alumni Association<\/a> provides a variety of benefits, discounts and services, as well as a valuable way to connect with and stay updated on the work of Spartans all around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The Alumni Association benefits more than just its members. The organization hosts and organizes a multitude of events that enhance the Spartan experience, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.msu.edu\/programs\/homecoming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Homecoming<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.msu.edu\/programs\/seniorWeek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Senior Week<\/a>, and promote positive change, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/serviceday.msu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Global Day of Service<\/a>. Anyone is free to read the Alumni Association Magazine, published quarterly, online, with issues dating back to 1992. <a href=\"http:\/\/livestream.com\/msualumni\/,\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Livestreams<\/a>, available for anyone to watch, of the Health4U Recipe for Health Cooking series are also provided by the Alumni Association.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the association\u2019s Alumni LENS program offers various <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.msu.edu\/programs\/lens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">career training opportunities<\/a> for members and friends of the university. These include <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.msu.edu\/programs\/lens\/courses.cfm?fOnline=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">online classes<\/a> about management, writing, marketing and more, <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.msu.edu\/programs\/lens\/courses.cfm?fFeatured=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">leadership retreats<\/a> and the free <a href=\"http:\/\/myalumni.msu.edu\/s\/1393\/05-alumni\/index.aspx?sid=1393&amp;gid=5&amp;pgid=961\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spartan Insights webinars<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to everyone that works with the Alumni Association for promoting the success of the thousands of Spartans in East Lansing and around the world!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of the current employees at MSU also graduated from the university.
