The \u201cMailroom Questions\u201d segment of our blog serves to provide you with detailed responses to your inquiries. This month\u2019s focus is\u00a0enrolling in benefits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do I enroll in benefits?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To enroll in benefits, log in to the EBS Portal.<\/li>\n<li>Select the &#8220;ESS&#8221;* tab\u00a0then the &#8220;Benefits&#8221; link.<\/li>\n<li>Select the &#8220;Add or Change MSU Benefit and Retirement Plans&#8221; link.<\/li>\n<li>Select the (this varies depending\u00a0on the reason that you\u00a0are completing enrollment) link.<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;OK&#8221; to bypass the CDHP disclaimer.<\/li>\n<li>Use the radio button to select the plan that you would like to add, then &#8220;Edit Plan&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Select the insurance carrier that you want, then &#8220;Add Plan to Selection&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Repeat steps for each plan that you wish to enroll in.<\/li>\n<li>When finished, choose &#8220;Review Enrollment&#8221; located at the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Review your plan selections, then select &#8220;Save&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>You will receive a confirmation to your msu.edu email account for review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*The ESS tab will be followed with a descriptor of your position, such as ESS Faculty or ESS Hourly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You asked, we\u2019ll answer!
