After a brutal winter, fun in the sun is high on the agenda for many Michiganders this summer. A great way to enjoy the highly anticipated weather is to hit the water! Listed below are several venues that will allow you to make the most of your down-time this summer.<\/p>\n

IM West <\/a>
\nSatisfy your craving for a swim right on campus! IM West is MSU\u2019s largest intramural recreational facility and features an indoor swimming pool as well as an Olympic-size outdoor swimming pool, both of which are open to the public during the summer.<\/p>\n

East Lansing Family Aquatic Center<\/a>
\nThe Family Aquatic Center showcases 12 interactive water features, multiple water slides, a diving board, concessions, and a sunbathing deck. Located just off of Abbot Road in East Lansing, the center has inexpensive rates and plenty to do.<\/p>\n

The Grand Fish <\/a><\/p>\n

\"Kayaks\"<\/a>
Kayaking is a great way to enjoy the season while getting exercise.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Located in Lansing, the Grand Fish offers canoe and kayak rentals. Set sail down Grand River and do so affordably- kayaks are just $10 an hour. Canoes are $20 for the first hour and cost $10 for each additional hour.<\/p>\n

Lake Lansing Park Beach<\/a>
\nIf you are looking for a traditional beach experience, plan a visit to the Lake Lansing Park Beach located in Haslett. Lake Lansing is the perfect destination for sunning and swimming. The area also includes a bath house and snack bar.<\/p>\n
