This Thursday, February 14, is Valentine’s Day. Haven\u2019t thought of a way to spend the day? No worries! We\u2019ve come up with a few fun, local ways to spend Valentine\u2019s Day with a special someone in your life.<\/p>\n

1. Walk along the Red Cedar River<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This time of year the banks of the Red Cedar River can be quite beautiful. Swing by Sparty\u2019s<\/a> to grab a coffee or hot cocoa, then meander along the winding river and enjoy the winter scenery that MSU has to offer.<\/p>\n

2. Lace up your skates and head to Munn Ice Arena<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Munn Ice Arena<\/a> offers public skating from 12:30 p.m.\u20132 p.m. this Valentine\u2019s Day! It is $4 for MSU faculty and staff and $5 for the public.<\/p>\n

3. Go to the MSU Dairy Store for a Valentine\u2019s Day treat<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It may be cold, but the MSU Dairy Store<\/a> has a special Valentine\u2019s Day ice cream for you to enjoy! If ice cream is not your speed, try some MSU Dairy Store chocolate cheese\u2014because everyone deserves chocolate on Valentine\u2019s Day!<\/p>\n

4. Eat at Brody Square<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Nothing says a Spartan Valentine\u2019s Day like eating at the dorms<\/a>. Swing by Brody for some top-notch dorm cuisine.<\/p>\n

5. Visit the Broad Art Museum<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The newly-opened Broad Art Museum<\/a> is a great way to spend some time with your valentine. Get lost in the new exhibits together!<\/p>\n

6. Check out some of the specials at local restaurants<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
