This innovative food vendor is changing the meaning of eating on campus and offering convenient meals around campus.<\/p>\n<p>Packed inside the electrically-powered food truck is a flat-top grill, a hot box, a refrigerator, a bakery cabinet, a generator and a three-compartment sink. The paint job of the food truck features tweets and quotes from Eat at State\u2019s social media followers who submitted the best ideas. \u201cGreen Machine,\u201d \u201cST82PL8\u201d and \u201cGo Green Cuisine\u201d were the top submissions and they can be seen wrapped around throughout the truck\u2019s design.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The food truck\u2019s fall <a title=\"Food Truck Menu\" href=\"http:\/\/www.eatatstate.com\/foodtruck\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">menu<\/a> has a little something for everybody\u2019s palate: MSU\u2019s own smoked cheddar cheeseburger, salad wrap, salad wrap with chicken, chicken sandwich, smashed chickpea sandwich and a specialty sandwich that changes daily. \u00a0The menu items feature MSU Student Organic Farm toppings, MSU Beef, MSU Dairy Cheese, desserts from the MSU Bakery, and locally baked bread from Breadsmith Artisan Bread Bakery of Okemos, Michigan.<a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sourcelive.hr.msu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/msu-food-truck.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3882\" title=\"MSU-Food-Truck\" alt=\"MSU Food Truck\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sourcelive.hr.msu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/msu-food-truck.jpg?resize=225%2C300\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sourcelive.hr.msu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/msu-food-truck.jpg?w=576&amp;ssl=1 576w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sourcelive.hr.msu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/msu-food-truck.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sourcelive.hr.msu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/msu-food-truck.jpg?resize=300%2C400&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Located North of Shaw Hall, the food truck is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday- Friday. Making its debut at the Notre Dame football game, the food truck will continue to be open on game days outside of the stadium.
