This information is used for MSU\u2019s \u00a0People Search and for campus mailings. Until now, Human Resources maintained these records in the system. <a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sourcelive.hr.msu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/peoplesearch1.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-3484\" title=\"People Search screen\" alt=\"People Search screen\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sourcelive.hr.msu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/peoplesearch1.jpg?resize=300%2C236\" width=\"300\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a>Effective July 11, departmental Unit Administrators now have the ability to view and change this information.<\/p>\n<p>The HR\/Payroll system requires at least one business address for all employees.\u00a0 There are two types of addresses maintained:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Administrative Address is the most direct mailing address and in most cases is \u00a0required.<\/li>\n<li>Up to four optional Work Locations are available if the employee\u2019s physical work location differs from the mailing address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, if an employee has multiple assignments (positions) they also will have multiple business addresses.
