Improve your health, be a lifelong learner and go see something new with these winter events and activities!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Healthy Living<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/health4u.msu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Register for MSU Health4U classes<\/a> like Chair Yoga and Ergo101: Introduction to Ergonomics. These classes are great ways for you to stay in touch with your body while working long days at your desk. The site also has <a href=\"https:\/\/health4u.msu.edu\/topics\/recipe-for-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nutritious, delicious recipes<\/a> that will keep you warm and healthy during snowy days.<\/li><li>Faculty and staff are eligible for membership to the three <a href=\"https:\/\/recsports.msu.edu\/hours\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on-campus recreational fitness centers<\/a>: IM West, IM East and IM Circle. Click <a href=\"https:\/\/recsports.msu.edu\/fitness\/memberships.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> to purchase a membership and view or register for included classes and programs <a href=\"https:\/\/recsports.msu.edu\/fitness\/groupex.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outdoor Exploration<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The winter months have much more flora and fauna to explore than you might think, and it is all worth writing about. <a href=\"https:\/\/birdsanctuary.kbs.msu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The W.K. Kellogg Biological Station Bird Sanctuary<\/a> has Zoom classes that teach you and your family about nature journaling and how to blend art and science! Register for one or all of the four classes in the series <a href=\"https:\/\/birdsanctuary.kbs.msu.edu\/events\/nature-journaling-blending-art-and-science-zoom-series-begins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li><li>The City of East Lansing\u2019s longest walking trail is open for the winter! Bundle up and visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityofeastlansing.com\/Facilities\/Facility\/Details\/Northern-Tier-Trail-27\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Northern Tier Trail<\/a> for almost five miles of trail and end your adventure in the Abbott Road Park with a snowball fight or an igloo building contest.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The February and March shows at the Abrams Planetarium have been announced and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abramsplanetarium.org\/Programs\/Public.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">registration is now open<\/a>. This month, check out <em>Skywatchers of Africa <\/em>and <em>SkyTellers<\/em> and next month you can catch <em>Planet Nine: The Search is On<\/em> and <em>In my Backyard<\/em>.\u00a0<\/li><li>MSU HR is always updating the online resources from Organization and Professional Development, so you can take a course on anything from Communication to Professional Development from the warmth of your own home. Check out the full list of course offerings <a href=\"https:\/\/hr.msu.edu\/professional-development\/courses\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Performance and Art<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/broadmuseum.msu.edu\/index.php\/visit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Broad Art Museum<\/a> is open and always free to the public. Make a reservation online and visit to see the new exhibitions for 2022 including <a href=\"https:\/\/broadmuseum.msu.edu\/index.php\/exhibitions\/beverly-fishman-recovery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a feature by Beverly Fishman<\/a> for Broad\u2019s 10th Anniversary.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.whartoncenter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Wharton Center<\/a> is back and a great place to escape the cold with Broadway shows and incredible live performances including the long-anticipated run of Hamilton between March 29 and April 10, 2022.
