First, we\u2019d like to say thank you for your years of service to MSU! We want you to feel prepared for this next stage in your life. To support you, we offer courses, tools and resources to help you plan for your retirement, including the Roadmap to Retirement course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe know it can be overwhelming to think about all of the\nthings to consider when retiring. Based on our years of experience helping MSU\nemployees, we\u2019ve designed the half-day Roadmap to Retirement course to provide\nyou with some of the most important information you will need as you prepare\nfor this exciting transition to your next chapter in life,\u201d says Dan Mackey,\nHuman Resources Manager and Retirement Administrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This course gives you a chance to ask retirement experts\nquestions and covers a range of topics critical to your successful retirement,\nincluding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your MSU benefits in retirement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An overview of Social Security<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial preparation tips for retirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This half-day course is free to MSU faculty and staff. There are two Roadmap to Retirement courses available on Thursday, January 23: a&nbsp;<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (roadmap to retirement morning course)\" href=\"https:\/\/hr.msu.edu\/professional-development\/courses\/personal-development\/roadmap-retirement-january-am.html\" target=\"_blank\">morning session from 8:30 am \u2013 Noon<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;and an&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hr.msu.edu\/professional-development\/courses\/personal-development\/roadmap-retirement-january-pm.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (roadmap to retirement afternoon course)\">afternoon session from 1:00 \u2013 4:30 p.m<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ready to Register?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To register for Roadmap to Retirement, login to the\u00a0<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/login.msu.edu\/?App=EBSP-SAP\" target=\"_blank\">EBS Portal<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and click on the My Career and Training tab, then the Courses for Employees at MSU tile.
