One way we can thank MSU’s hardworking snow removal teams is by doing everything we can to avoid making their jobs any harder!\u00a0 Here’s three simple ways we can all help MSU snow removal teams keep campus safe and clear:<\/p>\n
1. Snow-removal equipment is large, loud and difficult to stop; so please avoid darting out in front of or behind such equipment. Also, make eye contact with a snow-removal driver before crossing the street in front of them to make sure both parties are aware of the other\u2019s presence.<\/p>\n
2. Avoid parking so close to the sidewalk that your car\u2019s front or rear bumper hangs over the walk. This creates an obstacle for snow-removal equipment and extends the amount of time required to clear that section.<\/p>\n
3. Avoid chaining bikes to signs. Not only is doing so illegal on campus, but it also creates obstacles for snow-removal equipment.<\/p>\n
