This position is seeking an individual to be an important liaison with the Offices of the Dean, Advancement, Career Services and Music Entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities for this role include reserving meeting and performance spaces, planning and oversee the preparation of the facility, and collaborating with the Communication Office to coordinate projects\/events related to publicity and publications. The Event Coordinator would also be responsible for coordinating photography and video services for promotional and reporting needs. Ensuring high-quality activities with coordinating students, on-call and temporary employees.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate would possess knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree in art, business, public relations, communications, marketing or related field; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in planning, overseeing seminars, conferences, special events or concert production; budget and record maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/p>\n<p>For more details on the responsibilities of this position, and to view all our current postings, visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/careers.msu.edu\/\">careers.msu.edu<\/a>.
