Anderson Lecture Series: Slavery to Freedom<\/a>. This lecture series is an award-winning series that highlights living icons of the American Civil Rights Movement. This year\u2019s speakers include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Eric Dyson<\/strong> on Thursday, February 1 at 5 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.<\/p>\n<p>If you missed Dr. Dyson\u2019s speech, mark your calendars for Jemele Hill and Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II coming later in the month!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jemele Hill<\/strong> will speak on Friday, February 9 at 12 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II<\/strong> will speak on Thursday, February 22 and 5 p.m. at the Wharton Center for the Performing Arts.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about each speaker, click<a href=\"http:\/\/www.com.msu.edu\/stf\/\"> here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This lecture series was named after <strong>William G. Anderson<\/strong>, D.O., the first African American to have been elected national president of the American Osteopathic Association.
