The award highlights woman-identified individuals who demonstrate integrity, leadership, quality performance, integrative and inclusive action, and influence on campus and in the global community.<\/p>\n<p>There are three categories that will be awarded this year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Professional Achievement\u00a0<\/strong>will be awarded to a woman who demonstrates a unique drive and passion for her career and contributes positively to MSU\u2019s culture of excellence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Community Engagement <\/strong>will be awarded to a woman that demonstrates a commitment to engaging and advancing communities and organizations at Michigan State University and\/or in communities beyond campus, through service\/volunteerism, leadership and\/or involvement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Culture of Empowerment<\/strong>\u00a0will recognize a woman who has demonstrated dedication to the advancement and empowerment of women on campus and\/or across the globe through mentoring, programs or other leadership opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students, faculty and staff are able to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gencen.isp.msu.edu\/files\/8915\/0704\/0502\/2018_Award_Call_for_Nominations.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nominate<\/a> exceptional women; the deadline is Friday, November 3, 2017.
