MSU Police officers are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct while protecting the MSU community and taking proactive measures to prevent crime. Officers patrol a nearly 13 square mile campus mixed with urban and rural elements. Community policing is strongly emphasized through a\u00a0neighborhood model to enhance the safety and security of students, faculty, staff and visitors.
