We\u2019ve felt that way before too. Don\u2019t let the start of a new academic year wear you out. The WorkLife Office is here to help.<\/p>\n<p>As we embark on a new semester, we recognize that there have been many changes across campus and that the work world seems like it is often in flux. Join us at our annual conference on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, titled (no surprise) \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/worklife.msu.edu\/events\/changing-world-work-worklife-office-annual-conference\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Changing World of Work<\/a>\u201d and featuring Ellen Galinsky \u2013 one of the founders of the work-life field \u2013 to learn skills and tactics for increasing productivity in new work worlds.<\/p>\n<p>The WorkLife Office has several other events and programs planned \u2013 check the <a href=\"https:\/\/worklife.msu.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> for all upcoming events.<\/p>\n<p>Be encouraged knowing that during those times of feeling overwhelmed, you\u2019re not alone. That\u2019s part of the reason the WorkLife Office exists \u2013 to help create a work environment where all staff and faculty are respected and supported toward well-being in your work and personal lives. Also, when life\u2019s little responsibilities feel particularly daunting, <a href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/essentials\/lifestyle\/wellbeing\/revealed-paying-others-chores-secret-happiness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new research<\/a> has shown that paying someone else to do those chores can create increased happiness.
