The advisor serves as a part of the core team administering MSU&#8217;s Exchange Visitor Program; this includes: serving as an Alternate Responsible Officer for the J visa program and assisting with SEVIS compliance; reviewing J-1 visa applications for new or continuing Exchange Visitors; working as an overall part of a team to support international students and scholars. The advisor will interact frequently with, conduct outreach for and train MSU academic units seeking to host J-1 Exchange Visitors.
