{"id":1172,"date":"2011-11-14T13:48:54","date_gmt":"2011-11-14T18:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sourcelive.wordpress.com\/?p=1172"},"modified":"2011-11-14T13:48:54","modified_gmt":"2011-11-14T18:48:54","slug":"how-do-i-get-a-temporary-employee-parking-permit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sourcelive.hr.msu.edu\/?p=1172","title":{"rendered":"How Do I Get a Temporary Employee Parking Permit?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If your vehicle registered with the <a title=\"MSU Parking Office Website\" href=\"http:\/\/police.msu.edu\/parkingoffice.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Parking Office<\/a> is being serviced and you need a temporary employee parking permit, you have a couple of options.<\/p>\n<p>Employees with current permits may request \u201ccalendar permission\u201d one day only out of each calendar month. This means you can park on campus with another vehicle one day per month by calling in to the Parking Office at 517-355-8440 immediately upon arriving to work. Calendar permission is issued for whichever parking privileges you have purchased (i.e., for the commuter lot if you have purchased the commuter or commuter plus pass).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>If your vehicle will be serviced for more than one day, you should visit the Parking Office for a temporary permit. If you will be driving a different vehicle for more than 3 or 4 days, you must bring something from the body shop stating the number of days they will have the vehicle.
